Your privacy choices

Necessary storage supports sign-in, security, and your privacy preferences. Optional first-party usage measurement is off until you choose “Allow usage counts.” “Essentials only” keeps it off. Both choices let you use the search. We do not load third-party analytics or advertising trackers.

Optional usage counts

With permission, we count company-search attempts, results, broad error categories, and whether a job link was opened. A random identifier groups events for one attempt and prevents duplicates. A separate random identifier groups an opt-in visit in this tab for up to 30 minutes, with broad screen-size, entry-page and referral categories and steps from first search to job-link click or sign-in. There is no cross-visit identifier or analytics cookie. Records do not include your search text, company websites, job details, account identifiers, or IP address. What is stored

  • Sign-in and security: Sites/ChatGPT manages cookies to authenticate you and protect requests. Cookie names and duration are controlled by the hosting platform. Signing out ends access to your signed-in session.
  • Privacy preferences: ktulhu-usage-choice-v2 remembers your choice for 180 days. ktilhu-cookie-notice-v1 remembers notice dismissal. Earlier dismissal is never treated as consent. Clearing browser storage resets the choice and measurement stays off until you opt in again.
  • Guest workspace: ktulhu-guest-workspace-v1 retains your companies and filters in this tab for up to 24 hours after the last change. Closing the tab, clearing storage, or completing sign-in removes it.
  • Optional visit counts: after consent, ktulhu-usage-visit-v1 groups broad interaction steps for 30 minutes in this tab. It is cleared when you withdraw consent. No company names or filter text are included.
  • Sign-in draft: when a guest chooses sign-in, ktulhu-signin-draft-v1 in session storage carries companies and search filters through sign-in. It expires after 30 minutes and is removed after your account loads or the tab closes. No account is needed for guest searching.
  • Earlier watchlists: if direct-role-companies-v1 exists from an earlier version, we read it to import your watchlist into your signed-in account, then remove it. Signed-in watchlists are stored in your account.

External pages

Stripe’s hosted checkout and billing pages use storage under its cookie policy. We do not load Stripe scripts before you open billing. Employer websites apply their own cookie policies when you open a job listing.

Your controls

Use “Cookie settings” in the footer to change optional usage measurement at any time. Turning it off stops new measurement; previous anonymous records cannot be tied back to your account. Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control keeps measurement off even if you previously opted in. Your browser can clear or block storage, although blocking necessary cookies may prevent sign-in and account features.
